1930s Denim Weight Circus Ringleader Costume Set

Rescued from a barn on a farm in The Berkshires, this 1930s circus ring leader costume is made from sturdy denim weight cotton. The trousers are amazing, and can absolutely be worn outside of being part of a costume! They have fabric stirrups that can be easily removed if desired. The jacket has long, exaggerated tails and bright yellow buttons that are made from cardboard wrapped in fabric. It is an open fit with no closures (buttons are just decoration). Trousers have button fly with metal buttons, hand-sewn button holes & one clasp closure at the top. They also have belt loops. I have meticulously washed and restored this set and can ship in time for Halloween!

Condition: this set has been washed and is very clean and very wearable. Strong and sturdy. This is an antique and handmade set, therefore it is not perfect. Normal signs of age and wear, does not affect wearability.
